This sign was captured by Spy46 on our drive back from Albany heading west on I-90. We'd stopped at a rest area on the thruway and there was this sign, we both had a good laugh from it.

I honestly could not believe that the NYS DOT decided to put but signs like this or actually had the necessity to create something like this. Really were people crossing the 4 lanes of Thruway while people are driving an excess of 65 MPH in their vehicles just because there might be a better rest area on the other side?

Its this massive health and safety craze. If anything could happen, despite the common sense of your average human, it must be prevented. But this is just ridiculous. This reminds me of a sign i saw in canada. Ship Creek. we all had a good laugh about paddle shops...
